THE NEXT STEP IN DRIVER EDUCATION
Driver education has been very traditional in it's approach for decades.
Pulse Driving was developed to enhance current learning and help reduce
the staggering collision rates in novice drivers.
Here's why we are excited to work with you and your new driver!
What we bring to the table:
DRIVER EDUCATION MAINTENANCE
Traditionally, driver education focuses on pre-license training and supervised
behind the wheel driving lessons. Pulse Driving's revolutionary training methods supplement this important training for greater retention of learned information,
during the most dangerous first year behind the wheel.
Pulse Driving has designed the first program using spaced learning specifically designed for continuing driver education into the critical post-license period.
GDL programs have greatly reduced collisions but the fact still remains that 1 in 5 new drivers in North America will have a collision in their first year of driving. We think Pulse is the next step in further reducing collisions in novice drivers.
This training is currently used and trusted by many Fortune 50 companies and has been shown to reduce collisions by an average of 35%.
The brain needs time to absorb, process, and store learned information. If information is learned in a short period of time and not reinforced through repetition, much of that information will be lost. Pulse presents small bite-size chunks of Danger Zone training each month for 12 months to help drivers retain more defensive driving information for a longer period.
Post Driver Training
Up to 50% improvement in retention using spaced learning.*
No spaced learning
12 months post-training
Studies have proven that repetition reinforces learning and aids retention and recall.
Presenting recaps of information at specific intervals facilitates the learning at a higher rate.
Re-introducing the information presents more opportunities for the learner to fill in the gaps they may have missed the first time.

Danger Zone Training delivers messages specifically related to the leading causes of collisions for novice drivers. These messages focus on safe driving behavior and deliver reinforcing messages to the driver on a regular basis. One module delivered each month for 12 months.
BEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDE BASED
For many drivers, the defensive driving attitude begins with pre-license driver training and the initial recognition of dangerous situations and solutions to reduce the risk in those situations.
The Danger Zone Training program provides monthly reminders to be cognizant of previous lessons learned and to practice them in daily driving.
Long-term learning and retention of attitude-based driving principles is achieved through Pulse Driving's unique spaced-learning techniques at the most critical time in a teens driving career.
Parents play an important role in teen driving safety, and teens behavior and actions
behind the wheel are a reflection of their parents or guardians.
Teens will stay safer when their parents are involved.
Evidence suggests that awareness and educational approaches involving parents and their teens together have been effective in enforcing parental restrictions on teen drivers.
Pulse Driving assists parents in managing their teens’ post-license driving education
and providing common ground for discussions with their teens on critical driving issues.
Each parent or guardian is provided access to their own personalized learning portal to take the course along side their new driver to reference important messages.
How Effective is Pulse?
The underlying technology for the Pulse Driving program is currently being used by many Fortune 50 companies and over 700 large corporations to effectively train their professional drivers. The average collision reduction as shown in the training of over 2.5 million drivers is 35% in the first year of use. If this technology can have that effect with experienced, professional drivers just imagine what effect it may have for your new driver!
